The Compassionate Friends 30th National Conference
Conference will be July 20-22, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with a pre-conference Professional Outreach Day July 19. Keynote speakers include Simon Stephens, founder of The Compassionate Friends 37 years ago; and Elizabeth Edwards, bereaved parent, author of the best seller Saving Graces and wife of presidential candidate John Edwards. Tom Golden will be the featured speaker at the Professional Outreach Day. The main conference will feature more than 100 workshops and many other activities including the two-mile Walk to Remember Sunday which will circle the memorial at the former site of the Murrah Federal Building.
